The CSDS Director Vladimir Bartenev's participation in the experts meeting at RIAC

On January 28, 2020 the CSDS Director Vladimir Bartenev took part in the Expert Workshop "Scenario for Libya: assessments of the current situation, further dynamics and multilateral agreements. The role of Russia in resolving tensions in the region" that was organized by the Russian International Affairs Council in partnership with the African Business Initiative Union.
In his presentation Vladimir Bartenev shared his own understanding of dilemmas of reconstructing the Libyan statehood based on the monitoring of regional processes, which is being carried out in the framework of the project "Dilemmas of Strengthening State Resilience in the Middle East and North Africa in the Context of New Threats to Peace, Security, Global and Regional Stability" under his leadership with financial support from the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (project №17-37-01018, 2017-2020).
