The CSDS Director Vladimir Bartenev's participation at the XIV conference of Arabists of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences

Vladimir Bartenev participated:

- in the discussion of the plenary report “Live by the rules of others: Arabs in the modern world” of the honored guest of the conference - Professor Eugene Rogan, Director of the Middle East Center of St. Anthony's College, Oxford University;

- in the round table discussion “Problems of political transformations in the Arab East” - including as a moderator of the session "Political protests in 2019: Lebanon, Iraq, Egypt";

- as well as in the discussion of presentations of the Head of Department of Arab Studies at Faculty of Oriental Studies of Yerevan State University Hayk Kocharyan and Professor of the School of World Politics at Lomonosov Moscow State University and Leading Research Fellow of the CAIS of the Institute of Oriental Studies RAS Alexander Yakovlev, speakers of the section "Problems of modern and recent history."
