On July 8, 2021 the CSDS Director Vladimir Bartenev participated in the expert workshop ‘Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in the Russian Federation’s National Projects and Anti-Crisis Measures in the Context of the Post-Pandemic Economic Recovery’ organized by the Center for International Institutions Research of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) in partnership with the Russian Association of the International Development Assistance Experts (RAIDAE).

The CSDS Director Vladimir Bartenev made a presentation “The role of armed violence prevention in achievement of the sustainable development goals: international approaches and guidelines for Russia” at the expert session “The 2030 agenda as a guideline for a policy in the sphere of international development assistance: priorities and possibilities for Russia” at the International Youth Sustainable Development Forum organized by the MGIMO University.

On December 14-15, 2017 the international research consortium led by the Lomonosov Moscow State University (School of World Politics - Center for Security and Development Studies), University of California (Irvine) and Institute for Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, held an international academic conference' Empowering Sustainability in a Fragile World' in partnership with the Russian International Affairs Council and with financial support from the Russian Science Foundation (project №15-18-30066).
