The CSDS experts took part in the XV International African Studies Conference “Destinies of Africa in the Modern World”.

In May 2021, the CSDS experts took part in the XV International African Studies Conference “Destinies of Africa in the Modern World”, the largest event for African studies in Russia. It was held in an online-offline format. The conference began its work on the eve of the 25 May Africa Day.

L.R. Khlebnikova, the CSDS Deputy Director and Associate Professor of the Department for Jewish Studies at IAAS MSU, was a moderator and a participant in the section "Israel and Africa: New Opportunities and Challenges", that was opened by the CSDS director, Associate Professor of the Chair of International Organizations and World Political Processes at School of World Politics MSU, V.I. Bartenev with his presentation on "Israel's place in the structure of international aid to Sub-Saharan Africa in the XXI century".

The CSDS Expert, Senior Research Fellow of the Centre for the Study of the Russian-African Relations and African States' Foreign Policy of the Institute for African Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences O.S. Kulkova was a moderator and a participant of the section "The European Union and the African Union - Challenges and Prospects for Partnership in the XXI century", where other the CSDS experts and lecturers of the Chair of International Organizations and World Political Processes at School of World Politics MSU L.D. Oganisyan and O.P. Popova.
